On April 21, 2021 Jeremy was hit head-on by a drunk driver while coming home from work late at night. At the time, he was 19 years old. Fortunately, two couples happened to be on the country road that night and stopped to help him and call 911. They flagged down an EMSA unit and the medics were able to stop the bleeding and helped save his life. He was placed on a ventilator with his left femur and shin shattered. Doctors thought he would lose his left leg and his left eye also. While he has no vision in that eye, they were able to avoid removal and they did not have to amputate his leg. While recovering from his wounds and going through physical therapy, Jeremy is sharing his testimony and speaking out against drunk driving.
