Lacey Jo Martin died after two weeks in ICU fighting for her life, after the car she was riding in was struck by a car being driven by a woman under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Her family has created a “Justice4LaceyJo” Facebook page to honor her memory. Lacey Jo was the second youngest of 5 children. Her mother describes her as a bubbly, ornery jokester with a “real, real big heart”. She was a 10th grader at Epic Online School. She loved music, horses, doing makeup and hair, watching TikTok videos and spending time with her 2 best friends. She also enjoyed going on road trips and was always full of mischief.
