Lauren Corley Vaughn attended Alexandria Senior High School, graduating in 2018. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, earning a cum laude designation at Louisiana Tech University and was attending Northwestern State University’s accelerated Bachelor to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Shreveport. She was scheduled to earn a BSN degree in August. On March 31, 2023, Lauren was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Beta Chi Chapter 068. It was while on a high school field trip to LSU Medical Center that Lauren first became interested in medicine. With her studies in biology and work at Freeman’s Clinic, she was convinced that she was on the right career path. While excelling in her chosen profession, Lauren never lost sight of her top priorities: faith & family.
