Meagan Rose Burke was born in California, and grew up in Colorado, graduating from Green Mountain HS in 2009. She attended the University of Wyoming on a soccer scholarship where she played for 2 years prior to transferring to UCO in Edmond, OK where she led them to the NCAA Championship tournament. She joined the OKC Police Department in 2016 where she served as a patrol officer for the Springlake Division before joining the Freeway Interdiction Unit and most recently patrolling as a field training officer for Santa Fe Division. She enjoyed watching soccer surrounded by her growing number of dogs and was a Christmas-enthusiast, listening to holiday music as early as October and watching reruns of Hallmark holiday movies. She was a devoted daughter, sister, colleague, and friend.
