Meagan Beverly Richardson is remembered as a wonderful young woman with a passion and love for life. Words that can describe, but never do justice to Meagan, are: awesome, loveable, academic, competitive, driven, compassionate, and caring. She knew exactly what she wanted out of life and her accomplishments are a direct result of her attentive personality. She made sure that any and all factors in any of her endeavors were carefully planned to the last detail. Her competitive spirit propelled her to excel in her academics and as a softball player. Her intensity was balanced with her talent as a painter and, after creating a painting, she was known to give the creation away for others to enjoy. A North Central Texas College attendee and a gifted scholar, Meagan was on the President’s List for her sustaining a 4.0 GPA. She was the pitcher for the Lady Lions Softball team. Meagan’s major illustrated her personality perfectly as she was attaining her degree to teach in Special Education. Meagan gave 100% of her heart, her commitment and her dedication all the time, every time and she will be greatly missed. Meagan was killed along with several of her teammates while returning to college after playing a softball game against SNU, here in Oklahoma. A drunk driver hit their team bus, and in addition to teammate fatalities, several others were injured as well.
