Micaela Borrego was a beautiful 22 year old with a bright future ahead of her, when her life was radically changed by the actions of a drunk & high on marijuana driver who was going 66 on a 25mph residential street in the middle of the afternoon. The horrific crash, after the driver failed to stop at four intersection stop signs, left Micaela with a broken pelvis, a stroke, and in a coma fighting for her life. While she has survived this violent collision, she still cannot verbally communicate with her family and is facing a long, painful, and very expensive road to recovery.
