Shannon was born on July 24, 1979 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Timothy Metzger and Marsha (Metzger) Van Nostrand, and gained her angel wings on June 22, 2020. She was taken from us too soon.  Shannon was beautiful inside and out with a charismatic personality that was embracing and infectious, always enlightening the lives of others. She truly lived by her words, “Don’t worry about it; I got this.” Shannon was strong-willed and never afraid to express herself or stand up for what she believed was right. Shannon was the mother of three beautiful children (Alexandria, Shelby, and Thomas) who were her whole world. Nothing was more important to Shannon than her family. She loved to play sports, and was never afraid demonstrate her abilities, then spin on a dime and play the role of the precious princess. She could always steal the show regardless of where she was or what she was doing. She will forever be missed.
