The youngest of three daughters, Suzy was born in Fall River, Massachusetts to Gene and Madeleine Walker. At the age of 9, she moved with her parents from Henrietta, New York to Edmond, Oklahoma where she eventually attended Edmond Memorial High School and was a proud member of their pom squad. She had a successful 33-year career as a banker, including personal/private banker, loan compliance, lender, and loan operations manager, at Bank of Oklahoma, First Commercial Bank, Valliance Bank, and The First State Bank. Outside of work, she dedicated her time to the Lions Club and made many contributions to the Lions Eye Health Program. Suzy was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond and enjoyed spending her weekends at Lake Eufaula with her husband, Doug, and beloved family dog, Daisy. She also loved spending time with her daughters, stepchildren, and step-grandchildren. Suzy was a cherished and loving daughter, mother, sister, and wife. She was tragically killed when a drunk driver hit the car, she, her mother, and husband were in head-on.
